Denver to be Featured on “Good Morning America!”

Denver will be in the national spotlight once again this week, when ABC News recognizes it for its wonderful holiday festivities. Our great city will one of three cities featured on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Friday, December 5th at 5:15 a.m.

The best news of all is that you are invited! If you are an early bird, you can join Mayor Hickenlooper on Friday from 5:15 a.m. to 7 a.m. at Union Station (the 17th and Wynkoop Entrance), as he unveils Denver’s holiday window display. All of this willl appear live on “Good Morning America.”

 

Here are the details:

 

  • The live shots will begin at Union Station at 5:15 a.m.  

  • Wear skiing or holiday attire.

  • To qualify for the drawing for Winter Park lift tickets and Ski Train tickets, you must bring your skis or snowboard.

  • The Oxford Hotel will provide the refreshments.

  • Please feel free to bring homemade signs to “advertise” Denver.

  • Turn off your cell phones during the festivities.

  • There is free parking on Denver streets until 8 a.m.
