Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, you don’t want to miss the events surrounding the Democratic National Convention in Denver this month. Since Denver hasn’t hosted a convention since 1908, you don’t want to have wait until the next one!
American Presidential Experience
The American Presidential Experience, a 150,000 sq. ft. exhibit, will be set up in Parking Lot D at Invesco Field from Aug. 22-29. Fulfill all of your presidential fantasies – you can have your photo taken sitting at the desk in the Oval Office, take a ride on Air Force One, and peer into the windows of the presidential limousine! Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and are $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for children, and $10.00 for seniors. Click here for more information.
Convention Marketplace
The marketplace will open on August 24th at Civic Center Park. It will be open daily from 10:00am-4:00pm through the convention.

After Five Jazz & Blues Festival
Top-notch jazz groups (Gerald Albright, Poncho Sanchez, Arturo Sandoval, Jeffrey Osborne, Hazel Miller George Duke, Kirk Whalum, Dotsero) will embark on Denver from August 23-28. The shows will be performed almost every day at 29th and Welton in Denver’ Five Points neighborhood.
Colorado Green Fest – The City and County of Denver will host the Colorado Green Fest on August 24th at Sculpture Park that will showcase renewable energy.

2008 Rocky Mountain Roundtable – The 2008 Rocky Mountain Roundtable, to be held at the Denver Performing Arts Complex will run from Aug. 25-27. The event, which The 2008 Rocky Mountain Roundtable at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The event, which is open to the public, will encompass ten non-partisan discussions. It will feature a variety of participants, inlcuding Tom Brokaw, Madeleine Albright and Ben Affleck.
