Your Guide to Denver DNC Road Closures

By teamcox • August 20th, 2008

While it will be exciting for Denver to be in the national spotlight next week, the DNC will give Denver residents a few headaches. To make your life easier, TeamCox Realtors has compiled a list of Denver road closures during the DNC:

I-25: On Thursday, August 28th, a 5.5-mile portion of I-25 will be closed at 5:30pm to efficiently move traffic. I-25 will be closed from I-70 to 6th Avenue starting at until conclusion of the event.

Bannock Street: will be closed between 14th Ave and Colfax from August 25-27 from 10 a.m.until 3 p.m.

Colfax Ave: The westbound lanes of Colfax Avenue from Bannock Street to Speer Boulevard will be closed during the convention.

Speer Blvd: Stay clear of the southbound lanes of Speer Boulevard from Colfax Avenue to Larimer Street during the convention. While the eastbound lanes of Colfax Avenue and the northbound lanes of Speer will remain open, slower traffic flow is anticipated.
