Denver Tops Forbes’ List of “Best Cities to Buy a Home”

Denver real estateThere is more good news regarding the Denver real estate market – Forbes Magazine recently ranked Denver no. 1 on its list of “Best Cities to Buy a Home.”

The article’s comments cited that Denver had 25% of its property sales occur within approximately 25% of the city’s zip codes, which means that sales were fairly evenly distributed across the city. The article also mentioned that Denver scored “very well in terms of being able to bring people into a stable housing market.” It also pointed out the Denver-area has better growth potential than most cities, due to its main industries – energy and technology – which are unlikely to decline simultaneously.

This announcement comes on the heels of a real estate expert recently naming Denver as the no. 1 city to “emerge from the real estate Slump first” on the Today Show.
